USCG Eaton’s Neck Station Dredge – 2026

Posted in Dredging & Marine

Galvin Bros., Inc. completed a maintenance dredging project for the United States Coast Guard, restoring safe and efficient navigation within the station’s boat basin. The project involved the removal of approximately 15,000 cubic yards of material to reestablish proper operating depths for Coast Guard vessels.  Galvin Bros was able to push through the harsh Winter of 2026 and uncommon frozen waters in the Long Island Sound and meet the shortened Dredge window even after the Scope was more than doubled.

Dredged material was offloaded and transported to the established shoreline replenishment area. The project required precise marine operations and coordination to maintain access to active Coast Guard facilities while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

This work supports the Coast Guard’s vital mission readiness and demonstrates Galvin Bros., Inc.’s expertise in dredging and marine construction for federal and municipal clients.
