Plant 7 Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation – Valley Stream, NY (2020)

GBI was contracted by New York American Water to remove the reinforced concrete dome from the Plant 7 Water storage tank and replace it with a new aluminum dome. In addition, GBI performed concrete repairs on damaged sections of the walls, floors, and tension ring supporting the new dome. High-performance interior coatings were applied to provide a waterproof coating on the walls and floors of the tank.
