USCG Jones Beach Station Dredge – 2025
Posted in Building ServicesGalvin Bros., Inc. completed a maintenance dredging project for the United States Coast Guard, restoring safe and efficient navigation within the station’s boat basin. The project involved the removal of approximately 10,500 cubic yards of material to reestablish proper operating depths for Coast Guard vessels.
Dredged material was offloaded at the station bulkhead, where it was dewatered and transported offsite for proper disposal in accordance with all environmental regulations. The project required precise marine operations and coordination to maintain access to active Coast Guard facilities while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
