Marsha P. Johnson State Park (East River State Park)

Marsha P. Johnson State Park is a seven-acre waterfront park located along the East River in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The project consisted of fabricating and installing an Ornamental Gateway at The Kent Avenue/North Eighth Street Entrance Welcomes Visitors Into Park.  The vibrant addition to the park entrance gateway is intended to communicate Marsha P. Johnson’s spirit and legacy and complements the park and surrounding neighborhood. The gateway builds on other completed improvements to the park
