Posted in Civil ServicesAs part of the ongoing DEP Green Infrastructure Program at Greenwood Cemetery, Galvin Bros., Inc. was contracted by Brightstorm and eDesign Dynamics in conjunction with Green-Wood Cemetery to install a unique system that allows Greenwood to manage the levels of Sylvan Water. The system includes an RMS filtration pump assembly enabling the cemetery to use the stored water to irrigate their 478 acre landscape and a smart sensor installed at the overflow that discharges to the combined sewer. The electronically monitored actuator automatically drains the water level down 24-hours ahead of a storm event to increase the amount of water the lake can hold.
