Greenpoint Landing’s Newtown Barge Park – Greenpoint,NY (2018)

In 2018, Galvin Bros. expanded and reconstructed Greenpoint’s Newtown Barge Park as part of the Greenpoint Landing waterfront transformation. An asphalt paver promenade was installed along the sea wall to provide public access to the shoreline and give pedestrians breathtaking views of both the East River & Manhattan skyline. The promenade will eventually tie into esplanades in adjacent lots to create a seamless transition along the waterfront. The park also provides open green space, landscaped plantings, and winding pathways for local Greenpoint residents to enjoy.
