Greenwood Practice Area 2 – 2024

As part of the ongoing NYC DEP Green Infrastructure Program at Greenwood Cemetery, Galvin Bros., Inc. was contracted by Brightstorm and eDesign Dynamics in conjunction with DEP and Green-Wood Cemetery to install a subsurface storage and bioretention system, located in the cemetery’s roadway system, that would not disrupt travel of visitors and maintenance vehicles while providing enhanced stormwater management services to alleviate chronic flooding issues on the site.  These assets utilized a check dam style retention system and porous pavers to capture and retain storm water.
